       Dasar merubah kalimat dari Aktif menjadi Pasif adalah merubah Subjek menjadi Objek, menambahkan to be sesuai tense-nya dan mengganti verb nya menjadi verb 3. Berikut keterangan lengkapnya ....

  A. Simple Past Future Passive
Formula :

                 S + would / should + be + V-3 + (by O) + (Adv)

Keterangan :   - S            : Subject

                         - O            : Object

                         - would    : untuk semua subject

                         - should   : untuk subject I dan We

                         - V-3         : Verb 3 (past participle)

                         - Adv        : Adverb (kata keterangan)

E.g  ( contoh ):

Active      : We would see an accident.           ( Kita seharusnya menyaksikan sebuah kecelakaan. )

Passive   : An accident would be seen by us.  ( Sebuah kecelakaan seharusnya disaksikan oleh kita. )

Active      : Would you lead the class ?

Passive   : Would the class be led by you ?

Active      : He would not bite a rabbit.

Passive   : A rabbit would not be bitten by him

           B. Past Future Continous Passive

Formula :

                S + would / should + be + being + V-3 + (by O) + (Adv)

E.g  ( contoh ):

Active      : A lion would be catching a zebra.

                   ( Seekor singa seharusnya sedang menangkap seekor zebra. )

Passive   : A zebra would be being caught by a lion.

                   ( Seekor zebra seharusnya sedang ditangkap oleh seekor singa. )

Active      : Would the police be arresting a thief ?

Passive   : Would a thief be being arrested by the police ?

Active      : We would not be building an apartment.

Passive   : An apartment would not be being built by us.

          C. Past Future Perfect Passive

Formula :

                S + would / shall + have + been + V-3 + (by O) + (Adv)

E.g  ( contoh ):

Active      : A dancer would have danced modern dance.

                   ( Seorang penari seharusnya sudah menari modern dance. )

Passive   : Modern dance would have been danced by a dancer.

                   ( Modern dance seharusnya telah ditarikan oleh seorang penari. )

Active      : He would not have climbed a tree.

Passive   : A tree would not have been climbed by him.

Active       : Would they have found treasure ?

Passive    : Would treasure have been found by us ?

          D. Past Future Perfect Continous Passive

Formula :

                 S + would / should + have + been + being + (by O) + (Adv)

E.g  ( contoh ):

Active      : The students would have been doing the duty.

                    ( Para murid seharusnya sedang mengerjakan tugasnya. )

Passive   : The duty would have been being done by the students.

                     ( Tugas itu seharusnya sedang dikerjakan oleh para murid. )

Active      : Would the professor have been solving a problem ?

Passive   : Would a problem have been being solved by the professor ?

Active      : I would not have been giving something to you.

Passive   : Something would not have been being given to you by me.

Formula :

Active     : I will ask my mother.

Passive  : My mother will be asked by me.

         B. Future Continous Passive

Formula :

                 S + will / shall + be + being + V-3 + (by O) + (Adv)

E.g ( contoh ) :

Active     : He will be fishing fish.                     ( Dia akan sedang memancing ikan. )

Passive  : Fish will be being fished by him.    ( Ikan akan sedang dipancing olehnya. )

Active     : I will be taking them up.

Passive  : They will be being taken up by me.

Active     : Will you be joining the program ?

Passive  : Will the program be being joined you?

           C. Future Perfect Passive

Formula :

                 S + will / shall + have + been + V-3 + (by O) + (Adv)

E.g ( contoh ) :

Active     : Zaid will have dug holes.                ( Zaid akan telah menggali lubang – lubang. )

Passive  : Holes will have been dug by Zaid.  ( Lubang – lubang akan telah digali oleh Zaid. )

Active     : Will Izza have held a flower ?

Passive  : Will a flower have been held by Izza ?

Active      : We will not have broken your painting.

Passive   : Your painting will not have been broken by us.

          D. Future Perfect Continous Passive

Formula :

                 S + will / shall + have + been + being + V-3 + (by O) + (Adv)

E.g ( contoh ) :

Active      : Will we have been discussing problems ?

                   ( Akankah kita sedang berdiskusi masalah – masalah ? )

Passive   : Will problems have been being discussed by us ?

Active       : Afra will have been watching a concert ?

Active        : Nova will not have been leaving me.

Passive  : Rings were sold by her last week.       ( Cincin – cincin dijual olehnya minggu lalu. )

Active     : Did you wear a yellow coat last night ?      

                  ( Apakah kamu memakai jas kuning kemarin malam ?

Passive  : Was a yellow coat worn by you last night ?

                   ( Apakah jas kuning di pakai olehmu kemarin malam ? )

           B. Past Continous Passive

Formula :

                 S + was / were + being + V-3 + (by O) + (Adv)

E.g ( contoh ) :

Active     : We were learning English.           ( Kita sedang mempelajari bahasa Inggris. )

Passive   : English was being learnt by us.   ( Bahasa Inggris sedang dipelajari oleh kita. )

Active     : Was she tearing books at 2 p.m yesterday ?

Passive   : Were books being torn by her at 2 p.m yesterday ?

Active     : He was not stealing money.

Passive   : Money was not being stolen by him.

          C. Past Perfect Passive

Formula :

                 S + had + been + V-3 + (by O) + (Adv)

E.g ( contoh ) :

Active     : A cat had eaten a fish.                    ( Seekor kucing sudah memakan seekor ikan. )

Passive  : A fish had been eaten by a cat.      ( Seekor ikan sudah dimakan oleh seekor kucing. )

Active     : Launa had met us.

Passive  : We had been met by Launa.

Active     : Had you forgotten me ?

Passive  : Had I been forgotten by you ?

            D. Past Perfect Continous Passive

Formula :

                 S + had + been + being + V-3 + (by O) + (Adv)

E.g ( contoh ) :

Active     : Had you been thinking of me ?          

Passive  : Had I been being thought by you ?

Active     : He had been waiting for you.

Passive  : You had been being waited by him

Active     : We had not been looking for meal.

Passive  : Meal had not been being looked for by us.
