     Apa sih itu Conditional Sentence ( Kalimat Pengandaian ) ?? Teman - teman sudah pernah mendengar ?? atau belum pernah tahu sama sekali ?? Yuk cari tahu dan nambah ilmu ...

               Conditional Sentence adalah kalimat pengandaian / kalimat bersyarat yang terdiri dari 2 bagian, yaitu :

          1. If Clause (syarat), 2. Main Clause (hasil)

     Conditional Sentence (kalimat pengandaian) memiliki 3 bentuk / tipe :

            1. Type I (Future Possible)

               digunakan untuk menunjukkan kemungkinan terjadi di masa yang akan datang jika syaratnya terpenuhi.

Pola Kalimat : If  Simple Present, Simple Future        atau

                       Simple Future  If  Simple Present

E.g :

        -  If  I have a car, I will invite you to go Rembang.

           Fact : -

        - If  Mr. Morgan is a teacher, he will be my doctor.

           Fact : -

        - My mother will give me reward If I get the best score.

           Fact : -

            2. Type II (Present Unreal) 

               digunakan untuk menunjukkan pengandaian yang berlawanan atau bertentangan dengan kenyataan yang ada di masa sekarang (unreal at present) atau bisa juga digunakan untuk menghayal / menggombal.

Pola Kalimat : If  Simple Past, Simple Past Future        atau

                       Simple Past Future  If  Simple Past

E.g :

         - If  she were a flower, I would be a bee.

           Fact :  She is not a flower so I am not a bee.

         - I would get punishment If she were a teacher.

           Fact : I do not get a punishment because she is not a teacher.

Note :

-  Type no 2 selalu menggunakan WERE untuk semua Subject.

-  Fakta nya menggunakan tense no 1 (Simple Present)

-  Fakta selalu bertentangan dengan kalimat pengandaiaannya

 - If  Simple Past, Simple Past Future   Fact : Simple Present so Simple Present

                 3. Type III (Past Unreal)

                 

                     digunakan untuk menunjukkan pengandaian yang tidak mungkin terjadi pada masa lampau atau berlawanan dengan kenyataan di masa lampau.

Juga bisa menunjukkan penyesalan (regret).

Pola Kalimat : If  Past Perfect, Past Future Perfect       atau

                      Past Future Perfect   If  Past Perfect

E.g :

         - She would have been in Bandung If She had booked the ticket earlier.

           Fact : She was not in Bandung because She did not buy the ticket earlier.

         - If my father had given me money, I would have bought a new bag.

           Fact : My father did not give me money so I did not buy a new bag.

NOTE :

-  Fakta nya menggunakan tense no 5 (Simple Past)

-  Fakta selalu bertentangan dengan kalimat pengandaiaannya
