      4 Perbedaan Possessive Adjective dan Possessive Pronoun

     Hai mate !! Ada yang masih bingung perbedaan Possessive Adjective (PA) dan Possessive Pronoun (PP) dan bagaimana menggunakannya ? Kalau masih ada yang belum paham, ini kesempatan teman - teman untuk mengetahuinya.

Langsung saja, berikut perbedaan Possessive Adjective (PA) dan Possessive Pronoun (PP) :

1. Bentuk nya

   

Subject	Possessive
	Adjective	Pronoun
I	my ......	Mine
You	your ......	Yours
They	their ......	Theirs
We	our ......	Ours
He	his ......	His
She	her ......	Hers
It	its ......	-

 

2. Syarat pembentukan
 
    - Possessive Adjective harus di ikuti oleh kata benda (Noun).
    - Possessive Pronoun tidak di ikuti oleh kata benda (Noun).
 
     e.g :-  my book       - mine book
            - your house    - yours house
            - our school      - our school


3. Dalam  kalimat

   - This is my book                : ini adalah buku ku ( Possessive Adjective ).
   - This book is mine             : buku ini adalah milikku ( Possessive Pronoun ).
   - Those are their wallets      : itu adalah dompet - dompet mereka ( Possessive Adjective ).
   - Those wallets are theirs     : Dompet - dompet itu adalah milik mereka ( Possessive Pronoun ).


4. Dalam kalimat tanya (interrogative)
 
      Possessive Adjective

    Question         : Whose book is this?
    Answer           : This is my book. 

     Question         : Whose wallets are those?
    Answer           : Those are their wallets.

       Possessive Pronoun

    Question         : Whose is this  book?
    Answer           : This book is mine. 

     Question         : Whose are those wallets ?
    Answer           : Those wallets are theirs.
