      16. PAST FUTURE PERFECT CONTINOUS

  Past Future Perfect Continous adalah tense nomor 16 atau tense yang terakhir.

          Past Future Perfect Continous  digunakan untuk menyatakan peristiwa atau aktivitas yang akan telah berlangsung menjelang suatu waktu di masa lampau.

      Contoh : - Kita seharusnya sudah berjalan selama satu jam menjelang tengah hari kemarin. ( faktanya kita tidak berjalan selama satu jam menjelang tengah hari kemarin)

Time Signal :  - By this time last night                    ( pada saat ini tadi malam)

                        - By the end of  last year                  (menjelang akhir tahun lalu)

                        - By next January last year                (menjelang Januari tahun lalu)

                        - For an hour by midnight yesterday (selama satu jam menjelang tengah malam kemarin)

Formula : 

(+)  S + would / should + have + been + V-ing + (O) + (Adv).

(-)   S + would / should + not + have + been + V-ing + (O) + (Adv).

(?)  Would / Should + S + have +  been + V-ing + (O) + (Adv) ?

(-?)  Wouldn't / Shouldn't + S + have +  been + V-ing + (O) + (Adv) ?

Keterangan :  - S              = Subject

                         - O             = Object

                         - Would      = untuk semua Subject

                         - Should     = untuk Subject I dan We

                         - V-ing        = Verb -ing (present participle)

                         - Adv          = Adverb (kata keterangan)

E.g (example) :

(+)  Many students would have been doing the test by this time two days ago.

(-)   Many students would not have been doing the test by this time two days ago.

(?)  Would many students have been doing the test by this time two days ago?

(-?) Wouldn't many students have been doing the test by this time two days ago ?

(+)  Rini would have been walking by the end of  last week.

(-)   Rini would not have been walking by the end of  last week.

(?)  Would Rini have been walking  by the end of  last week ?

(-?) Wouldn't Rini have been walking  by the end of  last week ? 

           Cara Menanyakan Kalimat  Future Past Future Perfect Continous Menggunakan Question Word (kata tanya) :

                 I   would have been blowing a flute  for an hour  by last midday.

a. Who would have been blowing  a flute for an hour by last midday ?

b. What would I have been doing ?

c. What would I have been blowing  for an hour by last midday ?

d. When would I have been blowing  a flute ?

    NOTE : 

a. Formula untuk menanyakan posisi Subjek
   Q.W +   would / should + have + been + Verb -ing + (O) + (Adv) ?

b. Formula untuk menanyakan posisi selain Subjek

    Q.W +  would / should +  S + have  + been + Verb -ing + (O) + (Adv) ?

c. Menggunakan "doing" pada semua Subjek ketika menanyakan Verb.

Q.W = Question Word
