Cara Menanyakan Verb (Kata Kerja) dalam 16 Tenses

           Verb  ( kata kerja ) adalah suatu pekerjaan / aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh subjek.

   Pada dasarnya, saat verb ditanyakan, maka kata kerja berubah menjadi do yang kemudian bisa menjadi doing dan done mengikuti tensenya. Untuk menanyakan verb selalu mengunakan question word “ what ”.

                Berikut cara menanyakan verb (kata kerja) dalam 16 tenses :

                1. Simple Present

                What + Do / Does + S + do + (Adv) ?

Note :      Do          : Untuk Subjek I, You, They, We

                Does      : Untuk Subjek She, He, It

                V            : Verb (kata kerja)

                S            : Subjek

                O            : Objek

                Adv        : Adverb (keterangan)

                Lenna studies English every day.

                  S            V         O             Adv

Verb      : What does Lenna do every day ?

                Tomski and Ana  speak English every time.

Verb      : What do they do every time ?

                2. Present Continous

                What + is / am / are + S + doing + (Adv) ?

                Is             : Untuk Subjek He, She, It

                Am         : Untuk Subjek I

                Are         : Untuk Subjek You,  They, We

                They  are running now.

Verb      : What are they doing now ?

                3. Present Perfect

                What + has / have + S + done + (Adv) ?

                Has         : Untuk subjek he, she, it.

                Have      : Untuk subjek I, you, they, we

                My friends have visited me just now.

                4. Present Perfect Continous

                What + has / have + S + been + doing + (Adv) ?

                Olla has been eating for ten minutes.

                5. Simple Past

                What + did + S + do + (Adv) ?

                Runia brought a yellow box.

                6. Past Continous.

                Was       : untuk subjek I, he, she, it

                Were     : untuk subjek you, they, we

                We were singing a song.

                7. Past Perfect

                What + had + S + done + (Adv) ?

                The thief had stolen the car.

                8. Past Perfect Continous

                9. Simple Future

                Abraham will build a store next month.

                The students will have been doing the duties together.
